The Story of Precious and Her Pup  Coming Events

Making a Difference...One Life at a Time!

We are a small group of volunteers working towards reducing pet overpopulation and homelessness, by assisting owners in finding new homes for their pets they can no longer care for and rescuing animals from high-kill shelters, giving them all a second chance!

We are entirely funded by adoption fees, donations, and fundraisers!

Why is adopting from US better?!

  • A temperament test is given to all canines over 6 months of age. This test helps determine what type of training or behavior modification program the dog will need. It also reveals signs of dominance a dog may have and issues in certain situations.
  • All of our animals receive the necessary vaccinations and tests.
  • Some of our animals are cared for in foster homes. By doing this we are able to tell you if a dog is house trained, crate trained and what house manners they know. Along with this they receive socialization and obedience training daily. For cats, we are able to tell you what their habits are, social levels and personalities.
  • We work to prepare each animal for life in a home! Post-adoption support! Our work doesn't end when the adoption papers are signed. Our volunteers will field your questions and concerns; if necessary we will refer you to a Trainer or Behavior Consultant for additional help.
